I’m Corey Ferengul. I’ve lived in the Chicago suburbs my whole life. When I was young my grandparents lived in the city, an area known as Wrigleyville. My grandfather took by brother and I downtown often and he always carried a camera. I don’t even remember how old I was when I got my first 110 camera (yes that was a thing). As a result, I fell in love with taking pictures. While I have so many Chicago pictures I created a site dedicated to it, I have also traveled around the globe and wanted to share what I’ve captured!
Photos are my hobby and I realized that nearly 20 years of digital photos were sitting on a computer and never seen. I came up with the idea of a website to share the pictures and Wandering the Globe is one of those sites.
I have traveled extensively for work and fun, capturing pictures along the way. I’m a Canon camera guy, with many of these photo’s taken with a Canon 70d or 80d. As cell phone camera’s came into existence, I started using my phone as well, so the phone is a well represented camera on this site.
Photography is nothing more than a hobby, but it’s been fun putting the site together.
Enjoy wandering!
